Use the soap-don’t be a dope

Looks like this Pigeon is hesitating to do a hand-wash, though the popular hand-wash is readily available.

Are you aware of Pigeon Paradox regarding your health?

If you love pigeons and like to domesticate them or enjoy them flocking in your backyard to pick up the food you provide, then this post is for you.

All of us are aware of the pigeons as carriers of messages both in times of war & peace.

People enjoy pigeon racing or ‘white release dove’ ceremony during weddings.

What is that pigeon paradox I am talking about?

Pigeons are not just a source of messages, they can also be the source of your lung disease.

Feeding the pigeons could be bad for your lungs, if your health happens to be sensitive type!

Hypersensitive Pneumonitis ( HP ) / Bird Fancier Lung

It’s an under-diagnosed cause of severely debilitating and chronic breathlessness.

Hypersensitive pneumonitis has got several reasons and pigeons are one of the reasons.

Funnily called Pigeon Lung, it’s a type of pneumonia, caused by the inhalation of the avian proteins found in the feathers and dung of the bird.

Commonly seen in pigeon breeders.

Not just these people…..if you live close to the pigeons you can get affected.

Fever, cough, myalgia, joint pains, and breathlessness. Am I sounding like Corona Lungs?

What can be done to prevent Hypersensitive Pneumonitis?

Simple. Avoid coming in contact with pigeons either directly or indirectly.

Thank you.

Namaste🙏🙏🙏
