“Pain is physical; Suffering is mental. Beyond the mind there is no suffering. Pain is essential for the survival of the body, but none compels you to suffer.Suffering is due entirely to clinging or resisting; It’s a sign of our unwillingness to move on, to flow with life” Nisargadatta Maharaj

None. I can not!. Physical pain leads to suffering and suffering leads to physical pain because of the stress on your body. If I had to, like really had to pick I would choose physical pain when I am suffering I find it hard to laugh. I need to laugh and find things funny. When I am suffering I can’t do that.

I think we are very much a whole being: mind, body and spirit. When there is pain in any of these, we find suffering. To me, they are one in the same. Profound question π
