Flamingo Flower

Have you ever come across this peculiar looking flower?

“The beauty of a living thing is not the atoms that go into it, but the way those atoms are put together”   Carl Sagan-Cosmos

The plant belongs to Anthurium, an ornamental flowering plant.

Common names include Laceleaf, and tail flower.

It’s a perfect house plant for gifting.

This plant is for showy purpose.

The flower comes in multiple colors.

It is said to be poisonous due to calcium oxalate content.

Thank you.

I have seen them here in the US, but only in cut arrangements. They are lovely! 🌞
