Have you heard of the word-XANTHOPHILE?

This refers to a person who loves the color ‘Yellow’.

Don’t confuse with XANTHOPHYLL-which refers to the yellow pigment of the leaves.

The color Yellow-symbolizes happiness, friendship, and the new beginning.

The flowers in the above photograph are known by the name ‘Senna Alata’.

Common names include,Christmas candles, empress candle plant, ringworm shrub, or  Candle tree   

It’s a medicinal and ornamental flowering plant.

The shrub grows up to  3–4 meters (9.8–13.1 ft) tall.

The medicinal uses-This plant is called ringworm bush since it’s got fungicidal property and is used to cure ringworm and other fungal infections of the skin.

Said to have curative properties for treating burns.

Also used as a laxative.
