Labour of Love

Mother’s love and care towards her children is nothing but ‘a labor of love’

Motherhood is a sweet labor of love.

“What is unconditional love? Someone asked me.I looked at my mother”  unknown

In the photo below, you can notice that this mother past 60 yrs, is struggling with the hand pump to draw municipal water,in the street to help the family’s basic daily water needs, since water is a scarce commodity.

Labor of Love

“Mothers do achieve the impossible, finding time to raise their children, run their households, work, volunteer, and care for spouses, pets and elderly parents.” Amy Newmark

In the photo below, you can notice, the bond between child and the mother is so strong, the child is holding the mother’s saree ( name of woman’s garment in the Indian subcontinent) for more security.

Labor Of Love

“Having a baby is definitely a labor of love” Joan Rivers.

Thank you.
