Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea is thorny ornamental bush.

4 to 8 species are noted.

It can grow 1 to 12 meters (3 to 40 feet).

Colors include pink, magenta, purple, red, orange, white, or yellow.

Commonly known as paper flowers.

Bougainvillea are the official flowers of Guam.

It’s also a national flower in Grenada.

    I love these stunning hardy plants. Unfortunately they don’t like our Canberra frosts.
