Lens-Artists Challenge #112 – Word Choices

This post is part of Ann Christine’s Lens Artists Challenge- Pick A Word

The words suggested are

I am sure we are all still uncomfortable with the corona pandemic, showing no sign of abating!

Lucky are the people who carry on life as usual as if nothing has happened or happening.

Cigarette in one hand, morning newspaper, on the other hand, sitting on a comfortable sofa, not bothered about the business or surrounding environment…what else more you can demand from the Almighty?

“It’s important to be comfortable with uncertainty.”  Xiaolu Guo

“What hurts the tree is not the axe but the fact that the handle of axe is made of wood !” unknown

Cut tree
A Tree never complains even when it is being chopped Off ! But Life has a strange way of springing back.  “Life goes on.”   Andy Nguyen

Do you know as humans when we get tangled?

“O,what a tangled web we weave, when we first practice to deceive” Walter Scott

Tangled Wires
“Life is tangled with knots of promises and dares. It doesn’t entangle until you die”   Sania Rehman

Corona Pandemic has totally changed how you feel, when you miss the crowded gathering.

“To be far from the madding crowd is to be mad indeed.”
 A.E. Coppard

“You have to be odd to be number one” Dr.Seuss

Notice in the above photo, among the crowd only one person has got his attention some where, truly Odd man!

3 things to learn form a child.

“1.To be happy for no reason 2. To be always busy doing something.3.To know how to demand small things without ego.” unknown

These children are not bothered about the outside world and are busy helping each other in pushing the cart with full of energy, excitement and cheerfulness.

Happy Kids
“There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million”  Walt Streightiff

Thank you.

  1. “Lucky are the people who carry on life as usual as if nothing has happened or happening.” Love that first image – talk about comfortable and relaxed. .. The odd man is surely not a native, but a tourist I would guess ; -D. Tangled is really my impression of the narrow streets in New Delhi – at least when travelling in a tuk tuk. I love the children – and I love the Streightiff quote! Well done.

The odd man is not native and you are on the spot.
Glad you liked the man enjoying his morning cigarette..
Tangled wires are common site in most part of India and you rightly mentioned.
      Kids are kids always!
