Fire in the sky

“Amid the majesty of night,
What splendid vision strikes my eyes,
In glory bursting on the sight,
Forth from the northern skies?”   Stephen Greenleaf Bulfinch

“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world” unknown

Those of you who are lucky to watch the Aurora will never forget the experience. This experience is enchanting and you feel you are in Heaven, joining the Cosmic Dance of Nature’s magnificent spectacle.

Auroras are very dim and the camera can see better with long exposure settings and you are lucky if the sky is dark and clear.

“The aurora borealis is one of the most stunning light shows on Earth, but normally, it’s a treat reserved for the hardy souls living at the coldest edges of the world. The last few nights, however, people across the Northern and Southern hemispheres have enjoyed dazzling, colorful skies, thanks to a geomagnetic storm that began early this week.” Maddle Stone
