Lexico.com says Siesta is An afternoon rest or nap, especially one taken during the hottest hours of the day in a hot climate.
Rest is usually taken after ‘Lunch’
It’s also known as ‘Power nap’.
Said to be a Mediterranean custom.

It is claimed that the siesta has certain health benefits.

- Improves memory
- Gives you enough energy for the rest of the day
- Mind becomes calm
- May help you in getting tips to solve your problems
- Body gets recharged
Any time duration for Siesta?
Maybe it depends on the time available to you.
May be one to two hours?
Ideal Siesta duration is said to be less than 30 minutes, and I feel anything above 30 minutes makes you more lazy and lethargic.
Any ideal time for Siesta?
Said to be between 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm. ( mid-day nap )
