Delicate Colours

We are all fairly aware of the meaning of ‘Delicate’

our Dictionary.com defines DELICATE as pleasing in its lightness, mildness, subtlety.

Merriam Webster dictionary defines DELICATE as pleasing to the senses.

But the specific meaning of ‘Delicate Colours’ ??

My guess is pleasantly subtle in tone. Pleasant but not strong.( adjective )

What better example one can give other than Roses.

Roses come in many colours from red to pink to violet to yellow to even black….it goes on. But pink colour takes the cake.

Why is Pink ?

Why is pink a delicate color?

Pink means romantic,sweet and feminine.

Pink represents universal color of Love  💕

Pink colour brings harmony and  friendship.

Pink colour is said to have a calming effect,bringing peace of mind 

Pink Roses are popular on ‘Valentine’s day.

Pink represents gentleness.

    You are right, the pink we find in roses is delicate by the vary nature of the flower. Pull a petal and it will wither and dry in no time, its shade never the same.
