Pain vs Suffering

Pain vs Suffering

“Pain is inevitable,Suffering is optional” Haruki Murakami

Why don’t we accept the fact that, undergoing pain is part of life ?

Don’t we know that ‘life’ sucks ?

Why we go on complaining ?

We continue to undergo Pain and start imagining that we are victimized. We feel helpless and think we are destined this way.

It’s better for all of us to realize that Life owes us nothing.

But there is a simple solution……….

You can feel the pain but don’t react to it,Just move on.

Pain is Physical

Suffering is mental.

Beyond the mind there is no suffering.

Pain is essential for the survival of the body, but none compels you to suffer.

Suffering is due entirely to clinging or resisting;

It’s a sign of our unwillingness to move on,to flow with life. Nisargadatta Maharaj

    No one can escape pain..but healing is an inner desire..we suffer because we do not have the ability to heal..keep giving 🙏🌹

    Thank you Sohair.A little effort & practice by ignoring the pain and simply moving on,can do the trick. But unfortunately humans tend to go on thinking about the pain inflicted on the body rather than forgetting the pain.

      Thank you Ravisingh. Just like fire can’t be without smoke, pain has to be accompanied with suffering. After all we are not Gods.

    We don’t accept it because they we get a payoff for complaining. We get to be a martyr and have attention from others who might shower us with empathy or sympathy. We get to say it is another’s fault that things are not as they should be.
