‘Making resolutions is easy.Keeping them is hard’ Liz Hill
Are you the one tired of your new year resolution in a matter of two weeks ?
Don’t worry. You are not alone. Almost more than 75% of people, lose interest in reaching the goals too soon !
And happily, there is a day allotted for you to celebrate, known as ‘Quitter’s Day’.
Every year, January 17 th is celebrated as ‘Ditch the new year resolution day’ ( some celebrate on Jan 12 th and a few on Jan 19 th,I have no idea about scientific conclusion, but it doesn’t matter.)
What is the lesson learnt by celebrating this day ?
It’s said large number of people start feeling the exhaustion by the end of 2 nd week of January, because they set unrealistic goals and are not willing to forget their old habits.
Any solutions ?
So celebrate the day and be peaceful.
Start setting realistic goals,re-evaluate your life and your capabilities to reach your goals, concentrate on lifestyle changes, starting in a small way.
You need not wait for another new year to come to set realistic resolutions.Remember ‘Now or never’
Please share your thoughts.
Thank you.

I didn’t know that there was a specific day, but 75 percent of those who make them quit by now isn’t surprising.

Very interesting. That’s one reason I never make very specific resolutins or ones that are so obviously unrealistic.

This one had me smiling. I love when people one week before the new year start to talk about how many changes they are going to do in their life and later on they do maybe on out of a list of one million things. I always thought it a bit ridiculous to tell you the truth. I always say ” Know what you know and know what you don’t know”, that will make you set some realistic goals to accomplish. Nice blog you have, very interesting.
