Always wonder what makes the INDIVIDUAL to put hand on other’s shoulder !
What is the feeling that makes one to do like this ?
Does this indicate closeness or even comfort level or a kind of assurance….I am not sure.
I am curious whether this kind of behavior seen in Western countries.
Westerners can give more insight into this aspect of human behaviour.
I cannot recall the last time I saw someone do something like that here in America. It’s rare.

But kids, yes. You see them do it. Rare for adults though. However my experience is limited.

Americans are prone to prosecuting anyone who touches them. Our police are allowed to arrest us but prevented by regulations from shaking our hand. It’s not a healthy situation at all.
